When Joe died on January 21, 2021, it was a loss that felt like no other I had experienced in my lifetime. In my world, he had held so many important positions. He was my musical guru and my central inspiration for learning to play the guitar. He was my main NY Mets fan companion, and every thing I know about chess came from his teachings. We went on countless trips together with experiences impossible to define in words. I feel so unbelievably fortunate to have had him in my life and I plan on keeping his music in our world and spreading it around the best I possibly can. For this I have founded The Joe Pascarell Project, and it is for this I created this musical documentary.
